HOGGAR & TASSILI CIRCUITS FROM HOGGAR

• Trek in the Atakor (Assekrem)

  1st day : Arrival and transfer to join Tuareg guides to the camp that are at the rendezvous in Tezalayen start of the hike, the caravan advance slowly through the Tehe-Nasouad mountain range before arriving at Hananer bivouac.

  2nd day : Early in the morning the guides prepare the camels while you discover the stunning landscapes of the Adrar Harggaren and the magnificent peak of the Adaouda. Walk towards Mazouleite with view on the crater of Ahleheque. Grand view on Mount Akarakar and arrived at Wadi Erafezen. bivouac.

  3rd day : Walk to Afilale with its pots giant. Pass near Mount Hadadon and continue to Taguerguit. bivouac in the wadi Azzegue.

  4th day : Now we are nearing the peaks ascent of the wadi to Tizoueg, Saouinane and Oul. Arrival in the Assekrem massif and visit the hermitage of Father Foucault with unique view of the entire chain of Atakor sunset unforgettable sunshine bivouac.

  5th day : Descent through the Enamré wadi and arrival at the mount Aouknet continuation to the wadi Tenesmedak. bivouac.

  6th day : After breakfast departure, view of the Taessa and picnic near Torak. Crossing the plateau of Tassa N'aguena and arriving at the wadi Emahreguelli. bivouac.

  7th day : Descent by wadis Amharha and Outoul before arriving to Eguenda which offers a superb view of the Ekarhaggene mountain range in the afternoon return to Tamanrasset. Night at the campsite.

  8th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

• Hoggar & Atakor 4x4 Tour

  Small loop : Tamanrasset - Assekrem - Tahifet - Tazrouk - hirafok - Tamanrasset.

  Great loop or unusual Hoggar : Tamanrasset - Assekrem - Tanguet - Tazrouk - Ideles - Ouksem - Mertoutek - In Amguel - Tamanrasset.

• Tassili of Hoggar and Atakor (Assekrem) in 4x4

  1st day : aarrival then transfer to Tamanrasset some necessary purchases (chèche, ....), Departure on the Tassili, Bivouac en route.

  2nd day : lunch in El-Ghoussour walk in the site (discover the paintings and engravings of the site), the afternoon arrived at Tin Akachaker, stroll in the site, Bivouac at the foot of the dunes.

  3rd day : discover the paintings and etchings and lunch in Tagrera, picnic, afternoon walking to Taguelmamt Semedat, bivouac on the pink dune.

  4th day : by car to the website Youf-ahakit, great walk in this beautiful place, bivouac.

  5th day : stop at Imberoum, have lunch, and water supply in In-delagh. bivouac under the acacias.

  6th day : departure towards Assekrem, lunch during the road, the afternoon arrived at Assekrem, bivouac.

  7th day : passage to Afilal (gueltas large pot full of water + greens) lunch under the acacia trees. the afternoon arrived at Tamanrasset, overnight at the campsite.

  8th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

• Hoggar - Tassili Hoggar Trek & 4x4 Tour

  1st day : Transfer in 4X4 until Tizelaine approximately 15 Kms from Tamanrasset. We find our guide and the camels. Beginning of the hike in a decoration of acacias and wadis bordering the surrounding mountains. Bivouac in the wadi Takecherwet at the foot of the Adoudé peak.

  2nd day : We continue to the small village from Izarnen (visit of the gardens) and we continue towards Wadi Sedouen. The mountain "AkarAkar" overlooks the plateau on which we live.

  3rd day : We go back to Wadi Tintarelel. Of there we can finally discover all the massif of Atakor.

  4th day : The camel track sneaks into a almost lunar landscape, in the middle of stone fields and jagged volcanic peaks.

  5th day : We arrive at the crater of Imadouazen for the picnic and we resume our journey to go to bivouac at the foot of so famous Tezouaiag.

  6th day : We finish our hike to the pass of the Assekrem in the afternoon. Ascent to the Hermitage to discover the chapel of Father de Foucauld and see the sunset on the Atakor and especially the peaks of Illaman and Tahat.

  7th day : Sunrise on the Tezouiag for the braver and we take the vehicles late in the morning. Stop at the small village of Tanget and bivouac in the wadi. We continue our route towards the South towards Tassili from Hoggar via Indalag.

  8th day : Head south towards Tassili from Hoggar through the wadi Indalag to find us at the end of the day for the bivouac at foot of the dunes that dominate Tin Tarabine.

  9th day: Discovery of Neolithic frescoes around from Youf to Haket in the morning then we take the car back to Tahaggart in through the wadi of TinTarabine near the famous slab, old meeting point of the caravans of salt. Stroll through the pitons and sand dunes of Tahaggart in the afternoon.

  10th day : Crossing in 4X4 of the plain of Agbataye in going south-west; for kilometers without any relief except for some dunes, we go to Taguelmamt Semidet for lunch. Afternoon in the dunes before bedtime of the sun.

  11th day : Short transfer to Tagrera; in this sea a little agitated of blond sand, emerge rocks like vessels, mushrooms or even men. It's up to you to dream ... Bivouac in the small dunes.

  12th day : Day in In Akachaker; caves, passages secrets, rocks shaped by wind and sand but also some paintings and engravings well hidden that tell us the Sahara before the desertification. At the end of the day, transfer to El Ghessour for the bivouac.

  13th day : El Ghessour; discovery of the cave, paintings of dancers Giacometti, a little acrobatic course to find the water in the rift, guessing game in the carved rocks in search of the Commander Cousteau.

  14th day : Back to Tamanrasset in the day by Wadi El Ghargargh and Zazer; Arrival late afternoon. Night at the campsite.

  15th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

• Hoggar 4x4 Tassili Tour (in 8 days)

• Circuit of Tefedest (Mertoutek) in 4x4

  North of the Hoggar, a large granite virgin chain, with amazing landscapes and varied fauna: La Tefedest the summits of Akoulmou, Takoufi, In Tarain follow one another and finally come Garet Djenoun (mountain genies) which culminates at 2300m. these mountains form a real barrier difficult to cross from east to west.
  Mountains, peaks, rocks drown in sand.
  Hiking off the beaten track in the White Tefedest (West) and Black (to ballast).

  1st day : Arrival and departure towards the North; crossing wadis and vegetable gardens. Bivouac in the wadi Inakahame.

  2nd day : We continue towards Wadi Intakoufée where we arrive in the afternoon; bivouac at the meeting of wadis Terekoufd and Sendidah at Ouan Tamarat; beautiful and imposing tamarisk trees in a sandy wadi bordering the black mountain.

  3rd day : Ascent of the wadi Sendidah until the erg Annesbaraka where we will put our bivouac.

  4th day : From sand dunes to sandy regs, we arrive in the wadi of Ouhaet where we picnic; the afternoon visit the gardens and village of huts (village inhabited at harvest time).

  5th day : We continue our journey towards the foot of Garet El Djenoun; the bravest can try to climb difficult passages), the others will discover the other face of the Garet and some engravings.

  6th day : Crossing Wadi Aghaghar and stopping for the lunch near the well; we then cross a long, flat and endless plain, bordered at South by the Hoggar Mountains.

  7th day : Then return to Tamanrasset via the villages of Mertoutek, Irafok. Arrival in the afternoon at Tamanrasset, visit the city. Installation for the night at the campsite.

  8th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

• Junction Atakor and Tassili n'Ajjer

  1st day : We leave Tamanrasset late morning after a short visit of the city and the market.
  Departure by car on the track that goes up to the Assekrem where we arrive at the end of the day for the sunset. Overnight at the inn of the pass.

  2nd day : Early morning for the bravest, get up unforgettable sun on the Tzouiagues.
  We leave then for the village of Hirafok and the little oasis town of Ideless.
  Bivouac in the evening in the footsteps of the old Salines de l'Amadror.

  3rd day : We cross an immense plain to join the erg Tihodaine where beautiful dunes await us for the bivouac.

  4th day : Visit the village of Afara before approaching the foothills of the Tassili N Ajjers to multiple faults.
  Crossing lunar plateau of Fadnoun before reaching the oasis D'Iherir, haven of greenery.

  5th day : Small stop in the wadi Adider to see of very fine engravings testifying to a civilization before the desertification.
  Passage at the pass Tin Taradjelli before descending into the plain of Tafassasset where the last sands of the Ténéré border the Tassili.
  Bivouac in Essendilène.

  6th day : Visit of the guelta and gardens Essendilene before we go to Tikobaine. Bivouac in the Admer erg.

  7th day : We go through Djanet to go to site of "The Weeping Cow" where we have lunch; return to Djanet in the late afternoon and installation at the campsite.

  8th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

  The Tadrart, this mesmerizing mountain south of Djanet is draped with all the finery of magnificence.
  Synthesis of dazzling landscapes, heterogeneous condensed rocks, dunes and deep canyons of a splendor to take your breath away.
  The massif de la Tadrart unfolds an ocean of ocher dunes punctuated with peaks and jagged fortresses, the rock art is omnipresent.
  Further west, the Tassilis of Monkor and Barkat open their elegant sandstone arches on the infinity of the Ténéré.

• Trek to Tassili n'Ajjer (plateau)

  1st day : Arrival in Djanet and arrival visit of the small town and departure by 4x4 to Tafalalet where we find our donkeys and our guide. We
  let's start our climb to Tamrit. Bivouac after the first pass.

  2nd day : We resume our ascent to Tamrit where we will arrive at the end of the morning.
  Visit the paintings of Tinnezen and Tamalet the afternoon.

  3rd day : Discovery of Tanzoumaitek and famous African women.
  Back by the Tamrit wadi where we can see among the oldest cypresses of the world. After lunch we continue to Initilen; our path allows us to see here and there of beautiful paintings.

  4th day : Crossing the plateau of Titarasneliesse for arrive at Sefar in the late morning.
  Visit of Sefar Black; paintings here and there, at the top at the bottom, a crossing in history.

  5th day : In the morning, we discover the White Sefar and among others, the famous God Djobbarren.
  We go from paintings to paintings, in this maze of rock walls like a labyrinth.
  In the afternoon, we continue towards Tintazareft then Tin Aboteka.

  6th day : Last paintings in Wantouhani and we let's go back to Tamrit for the bivouac.

  7th day : Descent of the plateau; we find the cars in the afternoon.
  Small detour by the site of the Cow who cries before returning on Djanet.
  Night at the campsite.

  8th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

  2nd day : From Tisras to Timras, the landscape changes; the pitons give way to larger rocks. Bivouac in Imourouden.

  3rd day : We continue towards the wadi of Tililine in a sand scenery to get to Tikobaïne for the bivouac.

  4th et 5th day : We leave the Ark of Tikobain for go back to the heart of the canyons of the wadi Helleli.
  We alternate the walk between canyons and dunes.

  6th day : Arrival at the end of the day on Essendilène for the bivouac.

  7th day : Morning walk to guelta of Essendilene.
  We find the cars in the afternoon.
  Small detour through the site the weeping Cow before returning to Djanet.
  Night at the campsite.

  8th day : Transfer to the airport and boarding.

• Ziara from Tazrouk

  Tazrouk is a Tuareg agricultural village at 1900 meters altitude.
  The festival took the name of the village where it takes place every first week of August.
  Originally, it was a meeting held to celebrate the departure of Moulay Abdallah's caravan to Niger.
  the caravan does not leave but after the death of the sheikh the tradition has continued until becoming one of the biggest festivals of the Hoggar.

CIRCUITS GHARDAIA AND TIMIMOUNE

• Ghardaïa and Timimoun 07 days in 4x4

  1st day : arrival, transfer to town, visit the old souk, and the old district center town of the Mzab, the afternoon, visit of district from Beni Yezguen, the traditional dinner in the palm gardens. overnight in the hotel.

  2nd day : half day in the small town of Zelfana (Hamam), breakfast in the palm grove (60 km). afternoon visit to the souk from the city chaamba Metlili (carpet and others at very good price), a tour in the city (70 km), then to the small village of Sebseb (30 km), bivouac in the wadi.

  8th day : Biskra-Ghardaia, In the morning, we start our trip south to Touggourt, Eguerara, and Ghardaia night in guest houses.

  9th day : Ghardaia, Morning visit of the old city center, the souk, the small streets of the old neighborhoods from the city,, afternoon visits to the site of Beniyezguen overnight stay in guest houses.

  10th day : Ghardaia - Alger, Day drive to Algiers, passing through the cities of central Algeria. In the afternoon arrival, overnight at the Hotel.

  11th day : Alger, Transfer to the airport, departure.
